Q: What is your feeling on matches that are promoted to hurt the wrestlers, like a barbed wire match or a match that has tacks or hundreds of light bulbs around the ring? Do you consider that wrestling?
A: That is a tough question. I love a good deathmatch with good story telling and good wrestling incorporated with the use of foreign objects and certainly consider it a form of Pro Wrestling. Two people simply hitting each other back and forth with weapons is not wrestling in my opinion though. There has to be a level of build to it with the use of holds and counter maneuvers as well leading to the use of extreme weapons, which is far from what I've seen lately in the United States in terms of Deathmatch or Extreme Wrestling. In Japan and Mexico though I do certainly enjoy watching matches of that form. Q: Let's say Ryan Kidd won the lottery; what would you do with the money? Would you continue to wrestle?
Q: Who is your favorite opponent in wrestling?
A: Hm. I don't know if I would be able to say my absolute favorite because a lot of names go through my head when thinking of good opponents. I'm also very critical of my matches so it's hard to find just one that I enjoyed because every match has things I both liked and disliked, there is never a truly 'Perfect' match or opponent. This past year, I've enjoyed my matches against: Misterioso Jr.,Skalibur, and Violento Jack among others.
